I can’t say enough good things about Pet Ranch in Kingwood! I came in last week with my newly rescued dog who had just been neutered and was terrified and anxious. The staff was incredibly kind and patient. They helped me pick out a cone (they had tons of options!) and even took the time to help me calm him down and try one on. They also recommended some fantastic products, like CBD oil, which made a huge difference in his anxiety. It was such a supportive, helpful experience during a really stressful time. So grateful for their compassion and knowledge. Thank you, Pet Ranch!

Best pet food selection, very pretty collar designs you wouldn't find anywhere else, local store that's been around for years, very helpful and intuitive staff! They always know what direction to point you in since they've used and are familiar with the products.

Love the shop and the options and the people are really great. Some things are very reasonably priced others might be a little bit higher but I like to support local businesses. The people alone make it great!

Stopped by here for the first time this post weekend 😁 just needed a few cans of our cats food, they had it and it was the same price as the big box pet stores. I’d rather give my money to a local business so we will be returning for sure. They also handed me a free sample of a “fur-thickening” oil to add to my cats food for a healthier coat! You don’t really see chain pet stores giving out free samples like that! The older lady at the counter was also very sweet :)

I took my recently adopted, very skittish rescue kitty to have her nails trimmed. They did a fantastic job in just a few minutes without traumatizing her. Staff very nice, friendly and love animals. We will be doing this on a regular basis. I highly recommend Pet Ranch!

I can honestly say I found a locally owned pet recreation supply destination. They have it all including dog grooming and every pampering pet product you would ever need in Kingwood. Also how refreshing to know they are locally owned by Kent and Jan Stevens for the last 47 years. Double thumbs up.

This place being in Kingwood is actually kind of funny. When my husband and I moved here, the H-E-B didn’t even have a good selection of organic or healthy foods. And yet this place has always carried the top of the line, wholesome dog food that you normally have to pay an arm and a leg to have shipped. Finding it was like finding our people. We don’t even pay more ordering from them locally than we would have online. Plus, they deliver directly to our doorstep and have a reminder set up on the calendar to check in and see if we need food. They even alternate the ingredients they offer our dog so that we can ensure she’s getting the best balanced diet. When I say working with Pet Ranch is like having a best friend that has a pet food store, I’m not even remotely being generous. I love these people. I’m so glad that this place exists in Kingwood. The entire team is legitimately amazing.

My fur baby's new favorite place! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. They helped me find a new rawhide bone, leopard fleece sweater, and a delicious birthday cake that she gobbled up. I purchased a mix of items for both my dog and cat, and the staff helped me compare different brands instead of just recommending the most expensive ones. One packaging was slightly damaged, and they replaced it without any issue. I did notice the billing area gets slow when there are many customers, but they stay polite even during busy times. The store feels practical and useful for everyday pet needs, and I left with everything I intended to buy.

Highly engaged and helpful staff who do not push product or try to upsell. Great variety of quality pet food. Prices are reasonable and this is a family owned small business. Clean layout and easy to navigate through store. Customer service is top notch.

I have been using pet ranch for years and never thought to leave a review, so here it is. This is the only place I will go for my dog. They are always so kind and helpful from the moment I open the door. The owner is an absolutely amazing woman. They helped me with all my pets needs and even gave me advice when I was caring for a rescued squirrel. All in all, I have nothing but good experiences at this place. The only downside might be that prices can be a little high ( keep in mind they usually only carry high quality products). Hope you guys have many more years of business!
